Bugger and I spend a lot of time playing with Play Doh. We have this lunch box set that is entertaining and, importantly, easy to use for a 2 year old. I have this anal-retentiveness about Play Doh where I don’t like mixing the colors. It’s the left-brain side of me. And, then, there’s the right-brained side where I realize that mixing the colors is SO PRETTY. So, here we have red & yellow french fries. It’s like they already have ketchup mixed in.
A couple of weeks ago, I made pink lemonade cupcakes for Hubby to take to work. I wasn’t happy with how they turned out and they got mixed reviews from his co-workers. Obviously, I couldn’t show my face around his work again until I redeemed myself. I made these S’mores cupcakes to do so. I win.
Did you know that I play guitar? Well, I do. This was practice for the mountains. See, we’re going on vacation with Hubby’s family this week and I think there are 4 of us that play, so there will be many, many jam sessions. Can’t freakin’ wait.
I made a bad decision on Friday. I ran at 10:00 in the morning. In July. In Florida. It was like 95 degrees and 95 percent humidity. I did not last long.
Bug spent a half and hour playing night night in the laundry basket. Our friend Clayton pointed out that he, in fact, looks terrified in this picture. I assure you, he was not terrified. He was actually having quite a grand time.
Helping Daddy wash the cars… a.k.a. helping Daddy soak Momma with the hose. Yay.
Helping Momma with the laundry… a.k.a. trying on all of Daddy’s (and Mommy’s) clothes. He wanted me to take a picture of each outfit.
