Monday – Crossfit
Warm-up = 3 rounds of:
- 5 handstands
- 10 squats
- 10 sit ups
- 10 calf raises
Workout = 5 rounds of:
- 60 yard sprints
- 10 push ups (first 2 rounds for real, last 3 rounds against the hood of the car. Yay for being a wimp.)
Plus, one extra 100 yard sprint for shits & giggles – 16.5 seconds. I can do better. Also, those sprints made my quads, hammies & butt SORE!
Thursday – Pilates
Those last two = super sore the next day!
Friday – Running
2.51 miles in 22:24 = average pace of 8:55

Well done! A friend of mine who is an instructor for cross fit invited me to try a free class once. I could only do one round and didn’t even finish because if I did anymore I swear I was going to hurl lol. I just sat the rest of the session down. Those ball-walls (I think?) killed me!
Thanks! I would probably die if I went to a real Crossfit class. I found a site that posts scaled down workouts every day… I use that as a basic guideline, but I definitely try to not push so hard that I want to puke. There’s no fun in that!!
I love this! I’ve been trying to find some new workouts because I, unlike you, loathe running. I hate it. I grumble to myself the entire time about how miserable I am so I have to find other ways to work out. I was doing Zumba but my instructor quit and I haven’t found another place I like so this is perfect timing! I can’t wait to check out that pilates site, that’s one thing I love doing.
I hope you like the pilates videos! The instructor is slightly annoying, but I like the she talks about random crap. Helps distract you from the fact that you are, in fact, working out.
